My next book is set to launch in spring 2023 with a major publisher. But why does publishing a children's picture book take so long?

For over 15 years, I had dreamed of becoming an author.

As a teen, I wrote to explore different worlds, and to embellish the world around me with my colorful perspective.

As an adult, I learned that I could escape the stresses of everyday life through my writing.
